A University of Bolton spokesperson said the university was proud of its high satisfaction score.

The spokesperson added: “Our dedicated staff are committed to providing our students with the best possible overall experience during their studies.

“The Guide also shows a significant improvement in our graduate prospects, which shows the success graduates enjoy after leaving the institution. That number has risen by 13 per cent year on year, which is a bigger increase than any other university in the region.

“We are a teaching-intensive institution, and our staff work tirelessly to deliver the highest possible quality of teaching. This has been reflected in us achieving gold status in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) for student experience.

“We are the only Higher Education institution in the North West to achieve the gold standard for student experience.”
