Emmerdale and Coronation Street are once again facing significant schedule changes on ITV next week.
The popular soaps are often moved, extended, or axed from the ITV schedule due to sports or major events.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has wreaked havoc with soap schedules in recent weeks.
Viewers can expect more disruptions to Emmerdale and Coronation Street schedules next week due to the World Cup.
Here’s what the changes are and which episodes will be affected.
All the Emmerdale and Coronation Street schedule changes next week
Emmerdale and Coronation Street usually air on ITV1 at 8pm and 8.30pm, Monday to Friday, in what is known as the “soaps power hour” (introduced in January 2026).
The hit soaps have been removed from the ITV schedule on Monday (June 29) due to the World Cup.

On Tuesday (June 30), both Emmerdale and Coronation Street will air for an hour.
Emmerdale will run from 7.45pm, while Coronation Street will start at 8.45pm.
Wednesday (July 1) and Thursday (July 2) will see the return of half-hour episodes, but they will air slightly earlier due to the World Cup.
Emmerdale will air at 7.15pm, with Coronation Street to follow at 7.45pm.
Emmerdale will air at the same time on Friday (July 3), but Coronation Street will air slightly later at 8.15am.

Emmerdale star spotted on set ahead of return
Meanwhile, Patsy Kensit has been spotted on the set of Emmerdale ahead of her return to the hit ITV soap later this year.
Kensit played Sadie King on Emmerdale from 2004 to 2006, before making a dramatic exit from the show.
She is now set to return to the Dales after 20 years, reprising her role as Sadie.
Kensit said: “I am really excited to return to Emmerdale. I treasure the years I was here before.
“Sadie King is a character that I really loved playing.
“The cast and crew are absolutely brilliant and I am so grateful for the chance to return to the show, it’s absolutely amazing.”
The exact date for Sadie King's return has yet to be confirmed.
While Kensit has not started filming for the show yet, it has been revealed that she has already done some photoshoots with the cast.
