A GOLF day is being held tomorrow (June 7) to raise money for Salisbury charity Lucy’s Days Out, which organises trips for seriously ill children.
The Charity Golf Day follows an Endurance Golf Challenge, in amateur golfers John Brocksom and Mike Davani are attempting to play three rounds of golf per day for three consecutive days.
Three rounds at the Dorset Golf Resort yesterday will be followed by three rounds at Weybrook Park Golf Club in Hampshire today and three at Hamptworth Golf Club tomorrow – with the three clubs chosen to represent the three counties supported by Lucy's Days Out.
The Golf Day will have team and individual prizes for on-course challenges, followed by a two-course dinner and a talk about the charity from LKucy’s mother Julie Page.
There will also be a raffle and an auction with items including a Manchester United Football from the 201213 season with 30 signatures including those of Sir Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney and a signed and framed Southampton Football Club Shirt from the 2012/13 season with 26 signatures.
