Former oil chief to give talk on fracking in Burnley

A FORMER oilfield executive is giving a talk in Burnley.
After a 25 year career in the oil industry as a Schlumberger executive, Ian R Crane now lectures around the globe on a range of subjects including geopolitics, the environment, suppressed technolgies and conspiracy theories.
In 2010, he toured Ireland with Jim Corr, from top Irish band the Corrs, lecturing about the global economic meltdown.
His latest claims on fracking, the method by which shale and coal seam gas is extracted from the earth, will be revealed on Wednesday at the Kestrel Suite, in Cow Lane, Burnley, from 7.30pm as part of a national tour.
Tickets cost £10 on the door or £8 in advance.

" 3 grown men attempted to kill themselves in the toilets when Burnley scored by smacking each other over the heads with toilet rolls. The men were so fat that they ended up causing a lot of damage to the toilets; but remained unharmed themselves "
