A REFUGE for disadvantaged and homeless people has received a much needed boost from the Leigh Lions.

The club donated £100 to Compassion in Action to purchase toiletries which they are short of and also promised to continue to aid the Lowton charity.

The charity seeks accommodation for vulnerable people, and provides furniture, food and clothes to enable those in need to resettle without fear of not having basic provisions.
