A RISING rap star brought an inspirational message to a Leigh school.

Stay positive, stay in school and soar like an eagle was the message Leo Golden Child gave when he spoke with and performed for the students at Bedford High School.

The 23-year-old, from Birmingham said: “The message I want to get across is that you have to stay positive even when negative things are happening.

“Whether it's at home, with your friends or at school, whatever is happening you have to have the strength to keep believing in yourself and continue to try your best.”

Leo's latest single Stay Positive forms the backbone of his motivational talk, which he is currently sharing with students as part of a national schools' tour.
