A BOWLING club has purchased a defibrillator to help it provide a safe environment for its members.

Atherton Botanical Gardens Crown Green Bowling Club was able to purchase the life-saving piece of equipment with help from the Bright Borough’s Fund, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).

Members of the club were also given a demonstration by NWAS on how to use the defibrillator.
