NEW willow weaved sculptures will be unveiled at Atherton's Bluebell Boundary next Saturday, April 30, after being chosen by schoolchildren.
The sculptures of squirrel and a parent with a child will be the focus of an event run by Atherton Environmental Projects (AEP) which will also see pupils at across the road at St Phillips CE Primary School learn how to willow weave.
An eco-art group which specialises in making art from natural things have produced the sculptures.
The group will try to pass on their skills to the children at the Bolton Old Road school.
The willow weaving on the school field will take place from 10am to 2pm.
