FIREFIGHTERS tackled a caravan fire yesterday.
Crews were called to South Lane in Astley at around 9am.
They wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets to put the fire out.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause of the fire was accidental.
“Crews were in attendance for an hour.”
