THE Bon Bonz, a group aiming to be the girl band of 2010, will play at Leigh Miners on Thursday.
Astley member Kay Molyneux is bringing the quintet for a rare appearance on this side of the Pennines.
The girls Carrie, Kay, Sarah, Jade and Natalie, met just over two years ago, are Yorkshire based and have been working on their debut album ever since.
They will use the concert as a warm up for a festival in Manchester on Saturday.
Tickets are £3 on the door.
