Leigh Cancer Support Service provides valuable help for families

A FUNDRAISING event is being held by Leigh Cancer Support Service to provide valuable hours of Macmillan Nursing support for local families.
Every £125 pounds raised provides five hours of essential nursing support to families affected by cancer.
On Thursday, September 27 at 7pm Dawn Moore, founder of Leigh Cancer Support Service, will host an evening offering beauty treatments, mini-massages, speciality cakes, stalls and music. Leigh MP
Andy Burnham will be there to lend his support to the new Leigh Cancer Support Service and Macmillan.
Refreshments will be provided at the event which will take place at St Thomas's School Hall, Astley Street, Leigh, WN7 2AS. For more information, or if your business would like to support the

Leigh Cancer Support Service offers informal meetups for adults who have experienced any type of cancer. They meet on the second Saturday of each month at 10am at St Thomas's School Hall.
