FOOTBALL fans who would love to take to the field but feel restricted by age or lack of mobility are being invited to take part in walking football sessions following a link-up between Funsport4kidz and Wigan Sports Development Unit.

Funsports4kidz coach Chris Yates explained: "Our aim is to get people involved who can't play normal football. We are targeting people aged over 50 but may lower the limit."

Sessions are held on Tuesdays, 7.30pm-8.30pm, indoors at Westleigh High School sports hall and outdoors on Thursdays, 10.00am-11.00am at Robin Park Sports Arena. More details from Chris on 07738 631051 or Richard Smith on 01942 488480.
