Police in Breightmet seized a suspected stolen vehicle this afternoon, Sunday, following a tip-off.
Officers from the Bolton Neighourhood Team seized the car on Goldrill Avenue after being contacted by a concerned resident.
Police ran checks on the vehicle which revealed it was displaying false number plates.

It was seized on the suspicion that it had been stolen and will be examined by GMP's Vehicle Examination Unit.
A spokesperson from GMP Bolton North said: "Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team were contacted by a local resident in Breightmet this afternoon regarding a suspicious vehicle.
"Officers attended and checked the vehicle out on Goldrill Avenue, which revealed it was displaying false number plates.

"The vehicle has been seized on the suspicion that it is stolen and will be examined by our Vehicle Examination Unit."
