A UFO expert in Bolton wowed an audience with his knowledge on UFO sightings and where they really come from.
Steve Mera, an expert in the field from Kearsley, was at Bolton’s Albert Halls to talk to people at the Awakening Expo, an annual event which hears from big names in the supernatural and UFO world.
Bolton is not new to UFO sightings, as The Bolton News has reported on many in the past.
Steve said: “There are strange things seen throughout the Bolton area, and the surrounding areas.
“But there are hotspots, and people see things and tell me, and these people are not connected in any way yet they have seen these things.”
Steve encouraged people in Bolton to tell him if they suspected a UFO sighting as this would help him check what has been seen, when and where.
Steve has himself seen 40 UF0s, he claims.
Of his own sightings, Steve said: “We were sat having Christmas dinner and I looked out the window and there was something in the sky hovering over the house.
“It was white and round and occasionally, there was like a jet with emission, and it would move and hop around a little bit and I have no idea what it was.
“I have seen four discs together shooting off in different directions, and white lights moving about.”
One of the hotspots of UFO activity is Winter Hill according to Steve, as he receives many calls about this area.
Steve said: “There have been several hundred reports and ones that are being reported still.
“I don’t know why but it’s a huge location and has a very large transmitter there and it goes back a long time, since 1600s.
“It’s hard to put your finger on it but reports still happen and sometimes will have the experience there and tell me about it.”
When people report the sightings, Steve listens to their accounts, before recording the event and the going out to the area to see if he can pinpoint the location or see anything else himself.
Steve also looks for others who may have seen something similar. He said: “UFO’s are real.
“But where do they come from? NASA has already said they are not from other planets so it could be from another dimension.
“We allow people to tell someone without fear of ridicule.”
