ROAD users in Bolton are facing travel chaos after a crash on St Peter's Way.
Police were called at 4.20pm after a Heavy Goods Vehicle collided with a Toyota Corolla near to the junction with Raikes Lane.
No one was injured in the incident but long backlogs of traffic have formed.
The smashed Toyota was removed from the road at about 5.30pm.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "The vehicle has recently been recovered but it is advisable to avoid the road if you can as there are heavy backlogs of traffic."
