A TEENAGER suffered a broken leg after his motorbike hit a car in Great Lever.
The 17-year-old was riding along Bradford Road in Great Lever when his blue-and-red Pulse motorcycle crashed into a blue Vauxhall Vectra at the junction of Bishops Road at 9.25pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
Paramedics were called to the scene and treated the boy for serious leg injuries before he was taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Police said his injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Both vehicles suffered front-end damage.
Firefighters were called to the scene after an initial report that the boy had ended up underneath the car, but that turned out not to be the case.
Police are investigating. Call them on 101 with information.
