YOUNG people can bank on Barclays when it comes to getting a head start in life.
Representatives from the Bolton branch were at Smithills School delivering their LifeSkills programme helping pupils to develop the skills needed when they leave school — everything from in the workplace to managing their money.
LifeSkills is a national community event sponsored by Barclays and designed to provide young people with the skills that they need for life.
Students participated in different workshops including people skills — in which they developed self confidence; and workshops designed to help them understand work etiquette and writing a CV that stands out from the crowd.
The day-long event involved 90 pupils.
