A TRANSLATOR is hoping to land a model future as she prepares to take part in the final of a national beauty pageant.
Cassie Milano, who lives in Halliwell, has qualified to represent Lancashire in Miss British Empire at London’s Dstrkt venue on Saturday, October 25.
The 24-year-old, who did a beauty course at Bolton College, said: “I’m very excited. To win the competition would be a dream come true.”
She is currently a part-time model, while also working as a representative for beauty brand Avon and volunteering at a British Heart Foundation charity shop, but would like to make modelling her full-time career.
Outside of modelling, she said: “I love dancing, mostly street dance.
“I like baking cakes, spending time with my little cousins and walking my aunt’s dog as I love animals.”
