PATRICK HAROLD ASHWORTH Peacefully passed away after a short illness on May 18th 2017 aged 92 years, Harold the dearly loved Husband of Marian xx, Devoted Dad to Bernice, Tony and Barry, Father in law to Lyn, Grandad to Brett, Louise, Abi and Jodie, Great Grandad to Tilly, Martha and Ivy and a great Friend to many he will be very sadly missed. "Too dearly loved to be forgotten" Funeral service to take place on Tuesday May 30th, 2017 in Overdale West Chapel at 3:30pm. There was certainly only one Harold!!! The way he talked, told a story and reminisced - using his shoulders, arms, and face gestures, and his dry sense of humor - always "tickled me" and lifted my spirits!!! I see him now in the Shop awaiting a Mother's Day spray to deliver. And I see us both having a little weep together at my dad's funeral buffet (the last time I saw him). Throughout life, you just "click" with some people!!! Rest In Peace my dear friend Harold - A good soul you have always been XXX
