STEVEN O'CONNOR On August 10 2017, peacefully at his home in Westhoughton, Steven aged 58 years. Dearest son of Barbara and the late Tom, loving and caring dad to Amy and James and grandad to Ashton and Teddy. Also a dear nephew, cousin and a good friend to many. Funeral service at Howe Bridge Crematorium, Atherton on Friday August 25 at 11.30am. Family flowers only please. Donations are for 'Diabetes UK', cheques only please, payable to the charity. Myself and My Wife Michelle Met Ste and Barbara on the Thompson Spirit in 2015 and immediately became friends. Have tried to get in touch for last 2 weeks and went to His home today 25th Aug to receive the awful news from a neighbour. Deverstated I was not able to see him after I spoke to him on the 7th Aug and he told me he was not to good. Could never have imagined I would hear that he had passed away. Rip Ste you were a true Gentleman for the short time myself And Michelle knew you and you will never be forgotten. All our love to Barbara and the rest of the family our thoughts are with you
