MIKE BLEAKLEY On Thursday the 10th August 2017 at home with his loving family by his side, Michael Aged 69 years, Forever loved husband of Carol, devoted father of Catherine & David, David & Helen. Loving grandad of Michael, Olivia, Abbie & Holly. A much loved Brother, Uncle & a good friend to all who knew him. A true gentleman who will be sorely missed The funeral Service will take place on Tuesday 29th August 2017 at Westhoughton Methodist Church 11:30 am followed by a committal at Howe Bridge Crematorium. I worked with Mike between 1991 and 1998 for the 3M Company. People always described Mike as a true Gentleman and although an often overused phrase it really did sum the man up. Always far more interested in other people and the progress they were making or the problems they were facing than issues he personally had to tackle. I don't think i ever heard Mike speak ill of any person - ever. That was the kind of chap he was. A decent honest, hard working, dedicated colleague and friend. He would always speak fondly of his family and then immediately enquire about yours. Mike, you were a fine upstanding, thoughtful man who others spoke so highly of - for good reason. You and Carol were such a team and if there might be any comfort for those who will sorely miss you it is the fact that you are now reunited with one another. God bless you Mike - I am so sad to have to say goodbye. Paul Wheeler.
