MARGARET MARY MELLOWS (NEE WHITTLE) The family of the late Margaret Mary Mellows would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours, The Java F.E.P.O.W Club 1942, Horwich Heritage, Old Rivingtonians Association and the widows/families of her late husband's RAF comrades for all their kindness, expressions of sympathy, support, flowers, letters and cards of condolence and donations for RSPB or Dementia UK. We also wish to thank the Reverend Michael Behrend for his help and understanding, Christine and Richard for their help during the service, Jane and her staff at Knightswood Care Home Blackrod, who cared for Margaret over the last twelve months. In addition we would wish to thank Dr. Peter Scott who was Margaret's consultant for nearly 20 years. Doctors and staff at Kildonan House, district nurses, doctors and nursing staff on the A and E Department, Ward D1 and Dr Kallat and Staff on ward D2 at Royal Bolton Hospital. A special thank you to Susan Holmes and her husband John who helped Margaret whilst she was at home and visited whilst in Knightswood and to Doctor Steve Wood for his continued friendship, visits to Margaret and music. Our gratitude to Joanne Campbell for her beautiful, amazing floral arrangements, to Ann Marie and Horwich Golf Club for refreshments and use of their venue after the funeral and to The Livesey Funeral Service for their caring help at this difficult and sad time.
