THE weird and wonderful world of Doctor Who is alive at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester to inspire pupils to see subjects such as history and science in a different way.
The Doctor Who Up-Close exhibition is the largest Doctor Who exhibition ever held and will run at the museum, in Liverpool Road, until November 5.
The exhibition includes the four metre-long Empress of Racnoss character, which appeared in the Christmas Day special of Doctor Who: The Runaway Bride.
Suzanne Spicer, learning manager at the museum said: "The exhibition is phenomenally popular with children and young people. It makes a fun end of term activity, and has a lot of educational value too."
