REGARDING the letter 'The only way to bring the Government down is through the ballot box' by Cllr Nick Peel.
Firstly Cllr Peel, my letter is not some off the wall tirade, this country is being ruined and asset stripped by a party of self interested and greedy businessmen, and Cllr Peel tells us to do nothing about it because his party will be in power in a few years time, and will carry on with these ideological driven austerity measures, but at a slower pace. No thanks Cllr Peel, I will stick with the people who are fighting against these ideological measures and not supporting them.
Does Cllr Peel also forget that prominent Neoliberal thinker Margaret Thatcher has endorsed the New Labour project on a number of occasions.
There are some very slight differences between New labour and the Tories, but the important issues in my initial letter that Cllr Peel has failed to address is that his party are bankers apologists, and they support the free market, these are fundamental baselines that are shared by both the Labour Party and the Tories, and these baselines largely define what these two parties are and how they act when creating policy.
