WELL, well, I have for many years now, predicted charities will always line their own pockets first, and now it has finally reached the news, with Red Cross director Nick Young paying himself £184,000pa, Save The Children director Justin Forsyth £163,000pa and Christian Aid director Loretta Minghella £126,000pa.
To top this I expect, there are expenses and advertising on TV, and the cost of management in local shops + rents, etc. etc. Guess who receives the scraps? Yes, full marks — the people who really need it.
I wonder how many more foundations will now crawl out of the woodwork.
