There really is no end to the absolute and utter lunacy that is UKIP.
In the past week alone, two incidents particularly spring to mind.
Firstly, UKIP Cllr David Silvester made the astonishing and absurd claim that the recent bad weather is down the legalisation of gay marriage. He claimed that homosexuality was a spiritual disease and that, as a result of the legalisation of marriage between gay folk, that the wrath of God had been invoked via the storms and bad weather.
If this wasn’t enough, a few days ago UKIP leader Nigel Farrage called for an end to the ban on handguns, claiming the law was ludicrous.
This leaves me with the vision of the anti-women, anti-gay UKIP member toting a gun — a sobering thought indeed. And what’s worse is that some people see these people as being election material.
The mind boggles!
