I MUST thank the anonymous reader for the patronising advice to reconsider my support for the Bromley Cross sports village project.
There really is no value in insulting me about it.
Take your issues to the company, who have provided an opportunity for feedback on their website www.bcsv.co.uk On that site is their timescale for planning application, etc.
When plans are submitted you will have the opportunity to register your objections with the planning department.
I have previously considered the proposed siting of the commuter car park and am inclined to agree with your reservations. However, it may end the obstructive parking on Turton Road.
I understand that many commuters drive from Darwen to benefit from the cheaper rail commute from Bromley Cross, so perhaps they may be inclined to travel from Darwen by rail to avoid the hypothetical cold, wet and hazardous walk to the station, expressed so poetically.
This is a proposal, and the scheme will either have permission to proceed or it will not.
