WITH reference to the speeding motorists on Radcliffe Road. I just hope we council tax payers do not have to foot the bill for calming measures.
I lived on Radcliffe Road, Darcy Lever, for 30 years, and my mother still does. We too have observed these maniacs, who are usually young drivers. Only recently have they become a problem.
The answer to slowing them down would be to give them points on their licences. If the police came with their speed cameras, they would catch them all.
It is a pity my son, who is a patient driver, is tarred with the same brush. I know there are a lot of very good young drivers.
