READERS will have heard about Theresa May’s claims to support workers rights. Yet this is the same Theresa May who supported the introduction of employment tribunal fees and the trade union bill, measures designed to restrict workers rights. Her manifesto deserves nothing but contempt.
Labour has announced a bold manifesto pledge to bring in a 20 point plan for security and equality at work.
These are real Labour policies that would benefit millions of workers across the UK and they would go a long way towards a much fairer deal at work for everyone. They are policies worth fighting for in this election. These are policies that are genuinely for the many not the few.
