READING your headline Teed Off (March 16), what are the council's planners thinking of with 1,000-plus properties costing anything from £250,000 to £500,000?
Not much chance for youngsters attempting to get on the first rung of the property ladder there.
Any plans for infrastructure, roads, schools, surgeries, etc? Probably not.
And, as for Peel's expectations to be hosting the 2026 Ryder Cup, forget it.
It has as much chance of hosting it as a 75-year-old ex golfer with a handicap of 11 playing on it.
