WHY is it that some people just can't cope with a simple thing like recycling? We have been recycling cardboard in Over Hulton for several months without any problems.
If I haven't got an "official" bag, I put my paper and card in any old bag - what's the big deal?
Eventually, we in Bolton will have to get back in line with the majority of the country and go for the fortnightly collections and all the hoo-haa that created.
The letters page will surely then be swamped with correspondence from disgruntled council tax payers, complaining of maggots, smells, rats and trips to Raikes Lane etc.
I live alone and my grey bin normally goes out every eight weeks, I feel that I recycle very well. However, for a few weeks early last year I had my daughter, her husband and two children staying with me.
During that period we still only needed to put the grey bin out every other week and even then it wasn't full.
There must be thousands of us just getting on with it - why do we always have to keep hearing from the whingeing minority?
