WITH regards to the council inquiry launched into Cllr Sean Hornby’s conduct, my question is why?
The councillor has already admitted his guilt to all the offences relating to his taxi scam, so why do his friends and colleagues feel the need to investigate this further?
Surely all that is required now is Cllr Hornby’s resignation of his seat and an external independent inquiry into who pulled the plug on Cllr Hornby’s prosecution and why? Otherwise, I smell a whitewash coming on.
