LET’S hope MEP Arlene McCarthy did her homework before signing a written declaration promoting more research into Alzheimer’s disease.
Research is urgently needed, with more than 76,000 people affected in the North West alone, but many drugs tested on animals have proved fatal to humans and the results are wrong 85 per cent of the time. So let’s hope the research conducted is research we can trust.
