IN response to a resident’s concerns over the provision of weekend cover for Bolton at Home customers with stairlifts, we are happy to clarify that support is in place 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, 365 days-a-year.
Customers who need to report any problems with their stairlift during the week, between 9am and 5pm, can call Bolton at Home on 01204 335858.
Out of these hours and at weekends, the service switches to Bolton at Home’s Careline service on 01204 335733. If customers also receive the Careline community alarm service they can also call for assistance immediately, in case of emergencies, by pressing their Careline pendant, again available 365 days-a-year.
All customers are given this guidance when a new stairlift is fitted in their home, however, with their safety in mind, we will resend the information to all our existing customers.
