Bolton’s parking wardens are being fitted with lightweight head cameras to collect evidence against motorists who actually attack them while on duty. This is a sensible move and one which most right-minded citizens should welcome.
The majority of wardens are not only doing a decent job but are necessary in any busy town or community. And no-one deserves violence or vilification just because they are doing their job.
