NOW it’s really getting silly.
This EDL protest march business is really getting on my nerves.
You can almost smell the fear, what a pathetic bunch!
Nearly 100 years ago the same panic started when the Sufragettes went on the march; during the 1920s the General Strike brought people on to the streets to protest, and later still, in 1936, the Jarrow march began.
Nearly every decade has brought protests, nobody stopped them then, they tried, just as the authority is trying to do now, but they went ahead.
For people to march then something has started the ball rolling — and the people are angry.
And when they decide to protest then watch out, they mean business, and nobody will stop them.
It’s a human right. Don’t treat the people with contempt.
