BOTH my wife and myself are in our 70s, and I recently needed to phone for an ambulance for my wife.
I was treated with real professionalism by both the operator and paramedics.
The operator stayed on the line to comfort and reassure me until the paramedics arrived, who tended to my wife with the greatest respect and efficiency.
My daughter phoned while they were there and I was too upset to talk to her. The paramedic took over and explained what was happening.
They both stayed until we were happy with the situation, and have nothing but praise in the way we were treated.
