I DO not know whether Bolton or Bury are the best markets, but Chorley certainly gets my vote.
Tuesday has an open plan cattle market, as well as the traditional covered market offering a wide variety of clothing, fresh produce, meat and fish.
On Friday and Saturday the covered market is open, a truly great day out.
