CONCERNING the visit to the North West of Prince Charles about recycling, particularly plastic.
He should have a word with Bolton Council which only accepts plastic bottles, with all the other plastics going into landfill sites, eg ready meal containers, fruit punnets, meat trays.
Why will Bolton only accept plastic bottles?
I read the Daily Mail, and they had a “Ban the Bin” crusade, but when different authorities said what they wanted in the plastics bin, all took plastics to depots where it was all sorted .
It just seems such a waste of all that plastic thrown into the landfill site. Elaine Sherrington keeps telling people Bolton will only accept plastic bottles, and if any other plastics are in the collection, the plastic will be contaminated and rejected.
Why?
