would like to know if any costs were made for policing at Great Lever and, if so, how much?
We nearly lost our Remembrance Day Parade in Horwich because of the costs and might still do in the future.
A lot of parades, etc, are being cancelled due to this. As the saying goes, “Lest we Forget”.
No, I won’t forget and I don’t intend to forget the price these men and women paid so we can hold these events. They paid with their lives!
So an answer to the question please—was there any charge for the Great Lever parade?
