I SYMPATHISE with Mrs Stott (April 26) over her long-running battle to get her trees trimmed back.
I have had the same problem with Bolton Council although not for as many years as Mrs Stott. My house overlooks a wooded area that is now a complete eyesore.
One tree in particular hangs over the backs of our houses, blocking out any sunlight from 12.15pm until at least 3.30pm, by which time the sun is then going over the roofs of our houses.
I do not get any sun at the front of the house due to the position of my house. I have appealed to the council many times and even got our councillor involved, to no avail.
