THE Save Bolton Libraries Campaign handed over a petition with more than 14,000 signatures to Cllr Bashir- Ismail.
As Chair of the Campaign Group I was pleased Cllr Bashir-Ismael turned out in the rain for the handover, on the steps of Bolton library.
On behalf of the group, I want to express our hope that this petition will not be treated with the disrespect that the petition against the Market Hall received.
How gleeful the Tories must be as they watch Labour doing their butchery now.
How good it would be to see Labour rejecting the systematic destruction of the public sector by the ConDems, intended to finally destroy all the achievements of Old Labour.
