WE women are gullible creatures when it comes to believing claims about products combating the ageing process, aren’t we?
Thousands of women have just lost money after taking part in a promotion for an anti-ageing cream claiming to be “Hollywood’s secret to looking young” with a “42 per cent decrease in fine lines and wrinkles”.
The product is promoted on the internet but, although inviting customers to take up a free trial, the small print reveals they sign up to a contract charging a monthly fee of up to £80.
We can’t turn back the clock without expensive surgery. Even creams can’t perform miracles and an expressionless face that doesn’t reflect our own lives and experience is not necessarily attractive.
