SO Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City players are tired and suffering fatigue after playing two games a week for who knows how much money per week, per month, or however they are paid.
My son, a reasonably fit 22-year-old, played a full 90 minutes of football on Saturday, March 10, and again on Sunday, March 11, as he plays for two teams.
On Sunday, at about 5pm, he drove south to London to put in five days working away as an engineer. He will get paid a fraction of what these so-called super-fit athletes get paid.
So, Mr Mancini, would you or any other football league manager like to take a look at him?
He will also play the football without a word of backchat. I look forward to any replies, as does my son.
