WHAT a fantastic budget for the people of this country!

The Chancellor of the Exchequer has been really wonderful helping everyone, as I am sure you will all agree.

􏰁􏰁 The government will cut £10 billion from the Welfare Bill — well they only pay it to scroungers so it doesn’t matter, does it? I think it does.

􏰁􏰁 No reduction in fuel duty so this will add 3p to a litre of petrol a litre in August. That will put up the cost of food but the poor people can always eat less and that will solve obesity.

􏰁􏰁 Hot pasties over the counter will come with added VAT — that could really help the poor struggling on little money. 􏰁􏰁 He’s managed to bring back stamp duty on all properties; that really will help the young families trying to get on the housing ladder.

􏰁􏰁 He’s really trying to help the old-age pensioner by freezing the tax allowances and by keeping interest rates very low so five million will be worse off, but we are all in this together, is that not so? But remember this is a Lib Dem policy not a conservative one.

􏰁􏰁 Liberal Democrats have said that pensioners are very lucky due to inflation being at a record high. They are going to be paid the biggest increase ever — five pounds a week! You lucky people! I thought the rise was to cover inflation. How dare they now want you to pay tax on it.

􏰁􏰁 He has managed to bring an extra one million people into paying 40 per cent tax.

􏰁􏰁 If you earn £60,000 plus as a single earner you will get no child benefit but you and your partner can earn up to £100 000 and still get it. Another wonderful universal benefit he has managed to take away from some people. This is pure evil. 􏰁􏰁 He’s managed to give the very rich of our country an extra £40,000 by reducing the 50 per cent tax. I know if you’re working for the minimum wage that will really impress you, but then, again we are all in this together.

If you are a working family and you do not work sufficient hours you will lose your family tax credit. This could cost you £60 a week or £3000 a year. The Lib Dems have done you proud! The LibDem’s deputy leader says this is a very good budget because were all in this together. What the average person doesn’t understand is how much more money you need when you are very rich, the more you have the more you need — simple. What the rich already know is that the poorest in society can always live on a little less and quite simply they do not care, but we are the fools for allowing them to do it.

I don’t understand why the British public just don’t get it; this government is evil, the Liberal Democrats are extremely evil, nobody actually voted for them and all they have achieved is to make the rich richer and allowed the banks to steal our money without any redress. You can’t beat British democracy — the worst in the world.
