WHAT has happened to the English language?
The greeting “Hello” has given way to “Hi”. You ask someone how they are and you get: “I’m good”.
I wasn’t asking about their behaviour, but about their health.
No one “refers” to anything any more, it’s “alluded”. The biggest annoyance is addressing a group of men and women as “You Guys”.
