SUPER Kevin Davies, pictured, was not only the hero of the Sunderland match in Wanderers’ desperate battle against Premiership relegation, but is also a community hero.
He and his wife, Emma, have worked tirelessly with their KiDS of Bolton charity since its inception in 2010.
Now, he has unveiled plans for a major indoor football complex to help local youngsters play the game unhindered by the weather because, as he says, “kids aren’t getting enough time playing sport”.
As always, Super Kev leads from the front and — as a town and as a football club —we’re lucky to have him.
