IT’S good to see The Apprentice hopeful Azhar Siddique helping the next generation of entrepreneurs at Bolton Sixth Form College.
While he’s having mixed success in the TV series, the reality is that Azhar opened his first business in Bolton at the age of 21 and, at 33, is the founder and managing director of a multi-million pound catering and refrigeration company.
He encouraged the local students to study hard and gain as much knowledge as they can at college. He’s a great role model and his visit was no doubt inspirational.
However, anyone watching the current series—BBC1 tonight, 9pm — and having seen him front a questionable exercise video might suggest that this is one business avenue it might be best to avoid!
