SIMON Cowell’s Britain’s Got Talent is a brilliant show, but it is spoiled by a number of bad ideas.

What is the point of judges pressing their buttons if only to humiliate the contestants?

The judges should have the decency to hear them out before casting their verdicts. Cowell, pictured, himself has apologised on more than one occasion for doing this.

And why is it necessary to bring them in to decide on the final three acts when the public have already done this at great expense to their phone bill?

David Walliams is constantly winding up Simon Cowell and trying to take over the programme, but it is becoming exceedingly boring and he doesn’t even have anything interesting to say about the contestants.

And Ant and Dec’s contributions to the show are negligible. Their antics in the wings are becoming really irritating.

Bringing on other talent show judges—Tulisa, Cheryl Cole, Amanda Holden, etc — to perform between votes is another absolute disaster. Thank Heaven for the contestants. That little dog has more talent than this lot! Bring back Hughie Green’s Opportunity Knocks!
