DAVID Cameron is planning to cut the housing benefit for those under 25 years old, claiming it will save us about £2 billion pounds a year.

But there are two things wrong with this absurd and unfair idea.

Firstly, if free-market capitalism is the only way and the great saviour of the modern world, why isn’t it creating decent, well-paid jobs so that people are not caught in the trap of claiming benefits?

Is it because UK jobs are so low paid that people can’t afford a place of their own? The reason why is because their system of economics only works if a large section of society are poorly treated.

Secondly, if he wants to save money he should look at chasing the tax from rich companies who pay none. Vodafone got away with paying £7 billion pounds in tax last year, that is three times the housing benefit bill of our under 25s.

I have said this before, we are paying for a greedy and failed free-market capitalism, that was only able to function because loans and credit were made available to the many millions of low-paid British workers to enable them to buy the consumer goods being peddled by the capitalists. This Ponzi scheme is beyond a joke and people should not have to pay for the appalling mess created by the banks and the capitalists.

If there is one thing I would say to the people of Bolton it would be to learn about Neoliberalism, because this is what is causing all of the problems, and these ideas now dominate mainstream politics from the Labour Party to the Tories.

A vote for any of the three major parties is a vote for Neoliberalism and a Nanny State for the rich.
